What he actually used the taxi ride for was to enthuse about the morning event and to get stuck into his blackberry whilst listening to me bore him about Birmingham. Being disappointed in the media coverage seemed to be a consistent theme. One of the questions at the unconference was about giving ITV some of the license fee - that set him off again - "read the report, we do not say that". Sorry the interview didn’t come off.
